This album has some really crazy poptunes on it- be warned. Mauro and Peter got assistance this time from Paskal Deweze (Metal Molly), and the result is a far more poppy and even crazier album than the first one, 'Nougat in Koblenz'. Some songs are really insanely cheesy- take Mitsoobishy Jacson for example. A jolly cheerful melody, but at the same time it sounds almost melancholic. The guys are singing about themselves apparently, describing the philosophy of the band. (if I’m not mistaken) Let’s go swinging is almost even more cheesy- with a fantastic organ making for a real kerrr-azy sound. At times some songs are a bit ‘too much’, but never to the point where it starts to annoy; in fact it amuses me the more I hear it. If you want to hear a refreshing, original and wacky summer pop album, look no further. This is definitely what you’re looking for. |
