The longest single of dEUS,
Hotellounge is presented to you in its full-version glory. There’s no need to tell you this is a magnificent song- because you undoubtedly already know. There are unfortunately only two b-sides on here, but at least they’re not less than a minute long sketches. Jigsaw you’ (with Tom Pintens on the piano) appears in a acoustic version, with bass, piano, violin and a tiny bit of percussion playing the music. It’s a beautiful version of course. Whose vegas is it anyway is a strange up-tempo song, with a sometimes slightly distorted pop melody, but regularly being abruptly interrupted by an almost silent part of humming. Strange, but loveable. There are several versions out there; in digipak, plastic casing and another digipak, but a limited edition with 5 cards in them, with the covers of all previous dEUS releases. | |
