An excellent single, this. Already the
third one after Crawling to Target and Imitation, Stop is the first one
everyone could actually purchase. Stop itself is one of the (many)
highlights of Girl+Turtles, though it isn't a potential radio-hit. None of
Gore Slut's tracks is probably, but this one is one of the bands more
cheerful moments. Imitation in 4-track is quite beautiful, possibly even better than the final, protools-version from the album. Subway was one of the first new tracks the band started playing live. It didn't make it to the album, but it's very good never the less. I personally like the *** version a little better than the *** one, but that's purely a matter of taste.
